"We've lived in Stockton for a year and had given up on finding a good fish and chip shop, having been spoilt before when we lived in Yorkshire where they are seemingly all fantastic. We hadn't tried this one as it's not on Trip Advisor and we didn't know about it as we were getting to know the area. We live in Hartburn/Oxbridge Lane area and had just given up finding something that we would even eat. Luckily someone suggested Family Robinson to my husband this morning and we had some this afternoon. Excellent, it was great to have fish and chips without driving for half an hour to get them. Crispy fish, lovely fresh tasting chips and decent portions. We'll be back!"

"I personally think that after last night this Fish Shop is back to where it was a few years ago. Freshly cooked food and friendly staff and a queue is always a good sign, two new staff members? Very friendly and welcoming. Very very good"

"The best chippy around for miles. Food is fresh and the fish (cod) is very good. You get a lot of chips, I would prefer if they did a half or small portion as I don't eat a lot of chips. Try it, very good."
